Mr. Perry joined SA Harlem 5 in 2019, serving as a fourth-, third-, and second-grade teacher. In 2022, he transitioned to SA Crown Heights as a second-grade teacher before becoming assistant principal at SA Prospect Heights in 2023. A graduate of Berry College in Georgia, he holds a degree in early childhood education and a TEFL certification. Mr. Perry is passionate about creating educational equity by building strong school communities. On weekends, you might find him playing soccer around the city, enjoying a park with his wife and their dachshund, Eloise, or sharing a taste of his Colombian heritage through a delicious home-cooked meal.
